Histoire

La Cotswolds Distillery a été fondé par Dan Szor au coeur de la campagne anglaise, en 2013. Le fondateur passionné de whisky, se lance dans une série de whisky et de spiritueux de luxe. En 2014, la distillerie réalise sa première distillation de whisky. Trois ans après, elle révèle son premier Cotswolds Single Malt. En attendant le vieillissement de ses premiers whiskies, la distillerie commercialise le Cotswolds Dry Gin.

Fabrication

Le whisky Cotswolds Single malt est fait entièrement à partir d’orge locale maltée de façon traditionnelle. il est ensuite distillé 2 fois en alambics pot still puis vieilli à 70% en anciens fûts de vin rouge et 30% en anciens de bourbon de 1er remplissage.

NEZ :

Gourmand, parfum de miel, de fruits jaunes et de caramel au beurre salé.

BOUCHE :

Onctueux et riche. arômes de tanins, sucre et de confiture d’orange et épices.

FINALE :

Longue. fruits rouges et mélasse.

ROBE :

Doré aux reflets ambrés.
